Thèmes de recherches:

Je m’intéresse principalement à la manipulation parasitaire ainsi qu’à ses conséquences écologiques et évolutives. Les organismes ‘parasitiquement’ modifiés sont véritablement complexes, avec de nouvelles propriétés comparés aux individus sains. Identifier ces nouvelles propriétés et comprendre leurs conséquences sur les autres espèces et sur l’écosystème reste un domaine de recherche fascinant et encore peu exploré. Notre approche est pluridisciplinaire (comportement, protéomique, modélisation…).

Nous débutons actuellement un vaste projet de recherches sur le thème odeurs corporelles et pathologies chez l'homme et l'animal (causes, conséquences écologiques et évolutives) . La compréhension de ces phénomènes est stimulante non seulement sur le plan fondamental mais aussi en raison des nombreuses applications possibles en parasitologie, épidémiologie et médecine.
