Research interests

Coming from a background education in ecology and population dynamics analyses, my researches focus on the interactions between environment, ecology, and epidemiology. My main research interests include epidemiology of infectious diseases, mainly infections due to pathogenic organisms from * Vibrio* *sp.,* in relation to temporal time series data of climate and physical index in an oceanographic setting obtained by remote sensing. Most recently, my work has focused on the ecology of cholera in Asia and in Africa in relation with local and regional environmental and climate variability. The main goal is to elaborate a predictive model of the risk of emergence of cholera in developing countries.
